Where have we been?

I apologize that it has been so long. We are finally slightly settled in our new home, and attempting to establish life here in Texas.  I'm going to attempt to give an update during a  What I'm loving Wednesday post linking up here, of course!

-ONE-
About 2 weeks ago my sister, brother-in-law, 2 nieces and nephew moved back to Texas.  This is the first time in about 6 years that we have all lived in the same state.  We are so thankful for the time with the kids, and Ashley and Ryan.  Family really is everything!

-TWO-
My mom went to Florida to pick the kids up for the move, so that they didn't have to ride in the car for 3 days (or so that my sister didn't have to listen to them for 3 days ha!) and we got to spend valentines day with them! The day was full of everything heart shaped, making and decorating cupcakes, playing outside and dinner with the grandparents.

A few finds from pinterest lately:

A quick shout-out to my sister and her company PUSH! Delivery Gowns.  For any pregnant mommies out there, her gowns are so cute and very functional! The gown's are made with a cross over front and shoulder snaps to make exams and breastfeeding a breeze without being completely exposed. There is no need to worry about showing off your tushy either, because  the gown snaps closed down the back from top to bottom! You can also find her on facebook! They are currently having a giveaway for a free gown when they reach 1000 fans.  All you have to do is send your friends to like the page and comment that you sent them and  you will be entered in to the drawing to WIN! She also has gift sets and more- so check it out!

These last few weeks have been a sweet time for Jason and I.  The Lord has really been working in our hearts and we have been spending more time in the word, and learning more about our creator.  We are so thankful for the church we are attending in Texas- The Village Church and the teaching we have had since we started going there.  Right now we are dissecting the book of Galatians, and fasting during the season of lent.  I have always associated lent with the catholic church, which I assume most Americans have, however it really is a season that we should all experience.  Like Christmas, many people are now associating Easter with the Easter bunny, and Easter egg hunts and have missed the importance that is Christ's sacrifice.  Lent is a way that we are able to identify with Christ, His life and His suffering.  The church has a Q & A that you can watch at the link below.
Q & A - Season of Lent

I am hoping to keep the blog updated more now!
More on our journey next time,
